Burg Gaillenreuth in Ebermannstadt

We celebrated our wedding at Burggaillreuth at the end of September, it was an all-round successful celebration. The great support with planning, high flexibility and always friendly contact should be emphasized. Price / performance fits here from our point of view. The location itself is really very nice if you like the rustic charm of a castle. We really liked it and the ballroom would be very nicely set and prepared. On the day of the wedding, we received great support as the bride and groom (coordination cake, DJ, flowers, speaker ...) so that we could enjoy the party in peace. Due to the weather, we had to hold the wedding inside, which worked out very well. The quality of the food was very good, the wishes of the guests (vegetarian / vegan) were responded to flexibly. The service was absolutely outstanding, without exception highly motivated and friendly. Drinks were quickly and plentifully refilled, the drinks were also very good. The rooms are simple, but clean and good for one night. With a few small repairs you could get something out of it. Overall, I can only recommend the castle as a wedding location, many thanks at this point to the whole team from Burggaillreuth.

Nice place, but no draft beer. Snack: narrow sausage slices and cheese from wholesalers, for me the worst snack plate in the entire Franconian region so far 😕

Can only rate the beer garden visit. Staff friendly, atmosphere nice, in one corner or the other a bit grubby. Large brewery beer, small menu with convenience products. Even the cellar platter (the only snack) comes ready and garnished from the Großschlacher and only has to be thrown onto a plate. Franconian Switzerland really doesn't need that.

Good restaurant with affordable prices, only the staff seems a bit overwhelmed at times. Hygiene concept implemented excellently.

Stop for a hike in a pleasant atmosphere, service friendly and courteous. However, I know the liver dumpling soup completely overpriced in terms of price / performance.

Cozy castle garden with plenty of ancient charm of the castle as an ambience. The gastronomy fits in every way. It was not our first visit and certainly not the last ...

Nice beer garden at the castle, surrounded by numerous large, shady trees. Very quiet location. The whole plant could be better maintained. Parking lots available. Hall, cellar and garden are used for events (weddings).
